As we run up to Christmas we have a lot of news, so here goes...

So Summer is now over and we can look forward to log fires and a cosy little drink with our dinner, or afterwards (or before!). Noel Young has produced a list of wines that we can get for you, as usual in cases of 12 reds and 12 whites (2 bottles of each of 6 wines), or if you prefer, we can make up a case of 12 mixed reds and whites (1 bottle of each) in either of the price categories.

This is a short note about a special event to be held at the Green Man in Thriplow on the evening of Bank Holiday Monday (29th August). The pub is opening specially on that evening.

Hello everyone

Just a few more details about the Open Garden evening on Tuesday 14th June at The Old Vicarage in Church St. We have placed our order for the weather to be fine!

Last Saturday, Noel Young gave us a great winetasting in the Village Hall and we had a good attendance. I've taken orders from those who came to the event but now I'm opening up the menu to the wine club as there will not be another round of the club until probably September.
