1. Stamps for your Christmas Cards

Many of you will know this already but we actually make a decent profit on stamps so since we sell them at the same price as anywhere else, please buy them from us. We have loads in stock, anticipating the same or better demand as we had last year, but the sooner you get yours, the better.

2. Jewellery Sale

Demonstration and sale is on this Wednesday, 24th November - TOMORROW - between 10am and 4pm. Come and grab a coffee and a cake while you have a look at the designs.

3. Christmas Raffle

Sue is organising a raffle with First Prize of a £50 hamper including a turkey donated by George and Olive Deller, Second Prize will be a £20 shop voucher and Third Prize will be a £10 bottle of wine. If tickets continue to sell as well as they have been, there will be more second and third prizes to be given away. The draw will be on 16th December (not 23rd as previously advertised).   Sue is also going to organise a Lucky Dip for the kids - watch out for this in the shop.

4. Christmas Goods to Order

Leech's are taking Christmas orders for meat now.  If would like to order something for delivery on December 23rd, let us know.

Likewise, we can order Christmas cheeses from our excellent supplier, last year both Stilton and Brie were very popular and we ordered in bulk for better prices and then cut the whole cheeses up to match orders.  Please let us know as soon as you can what you want so as to give us a bit of time to order it.

5. 150 Club

The first draw of the new year, with added prizes, took place last week.  The £50 winner was Ann Robertson, Other prizes went to Andrea Hanney, Michael Murch and Glen Link.  Well done to all!  The next draw will be Wednesday December 15th, at 8pm in the Green Man.

6. Christmas Opening Times

The shop will be CLOSED on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.  Normal hours will be operated up to and including December 23rd, and from January 4th.  Between these dates, the shop will be open between 9am and 12.30pm

Well, this will be the last newsletter of the year because I am now on holiday until January.  The TVSA and our staff wish you all a very happy and relaxing Christmas period and all the best for the New Year!

Kevin and the TVSA
