We have some lost property in the shop

 

Today we seem to have accumulated three items of lost property

- a black body warmer left in the village hall after aerobics

- a black sports bag with a Thriplow Primary school boy's football gear in it

- a set of black ear buds from an Ipod or similar

 

If you own any of these, please call in at the shop and collect them, they will go on ebay next week (only joking!)

Wine Club

We have just completed a round of the Wine Club and thank you to everyone who ordered some excellent value wine, it really helps the shop. The next round will be late May-June

It seems we will be ordering some more cases of wine soon so if anyone who missed the round wants to get a case or if you need another case because the first lot is going down nicely, please let us now in the shop or by emailing Kevin at ck.clarke@virgin.net He can send you a list of the wines if you want. By the way, it is possible to order a full or half case of any of the individual wines on the list, so if any one wine touches your palette and you want to stock up on that one, again, just let us know.

This Weekend

Just a reminder that we will be horrendously busy from after 11am until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please get your papers and whatever else you need before then, it will save you lots of time.

We have a full deli at the moment and we are getting a decent order of cheeses and Italian cold meats delivered tomorrow, so please drop by and have a look, maybe try something new for lunch?

150 Club

The March draw was on Tuesday and Sean MacGarry won first prize, congratulations to him and the three other winners. You’ve got to be in it to win it and we have 7 numbers spare – we sell these in the pub to hopeful and generous souls on the night - but if you want to take a number for the rest of the year, please ask in the shop.
