Hello everyone
Just a few more details about the Open Garden evening on Tuesday 14th June at The Old Vicarage in Church St. We have placed our order for the weather to be fine!
Tickets are available in the shop, £10 adult and £6 under 18s.
The evening will start at 6.30pm and will last a couple of hours. There will be live jazz music in the background, with piano and saxophone (I think). There will be a croquet lawn set up to play. And the Thriplow Society will present a historical storyboard of the Vicarage for you to read.
We will provide a free Pimms or wine drink for adults and free soft drinks all night for under 18s. There will be food as well. A pay bar will be going with wine, beer, soft drinks and Pimms if anyone would like more. We will have plenty of seating available in the garden - which by the way is lovely, I've seen it! And we hope to be running a special 150 Club draw, for people who buy their balls on the night.
Please get your tickets as soon as possible, it makes it easier for planning purposes if we know how many will be coming.
One word of warning, there is an open air swimming pool which will not be available for use (for H&S reasons). Parents will need to make sure their children don't get into the pool.
Thanks
Kevin
