St George’s Tennis Tournament – takes a new direction!

St George’s Tennis Tournament – takes a new direction!

No longer just about tennis, this year’s event is designed to have a broader appeal

At its heart will be two activities so you can choose the way you want to get involved:

1. A tennis tournament just like previous years – open to anyone 15 yrs or older

2. A new Treasure Hunt round the village and parish – outside activity and exploration for walkers, bikers and riders of all ages!

The two events will run at the same time but everyone can come together at the start for traditional bacon butties at 12.30 am and then meet-up again for the end of day fun, activities and food

The attached flyer gives you more detail and includes the cost of taking part – please remember all the proceeds go to St George’s Church

We’re hoping this year will be even more popular with families and be another memorable village event

So do hope you will want to put Sunday, 11th September 2011 in your diary now!

Please just complete the attached form and drop it round with a cheque made payable to “Thriplow PCC” to me at The Old Bakery, 8 The Green, Thriplow ASAP!

Many thanks

Best wishes
