Thriplow and Fowlmere Section
Thriplow & Fowlmere WI meets at 7.30pm on the second Thursday of the month at Thriplow Village Hall. We have a very wide and varied programme of speakers, as well as organising other outings such as our dining club (which is very popular), theatre visits and there are also many other outings on offer through our Cambridgeshire Federation.

Membership of a WI means you are also a member of the Cambridgeshire Federation of Women's Institutes and by implication a member of the National Federation of Women's Institutes. In other words, a member of a very large organisation with over 230,000 members.

When you pay your annual subscription of £29.50 (due in January) you open up a world of friendship, enjoyment, enlightenment, in fact, a thoroughly good time. Through the resolutions we debate and vote upon each year we have mandates to lobby governments on so many issues such as health matters, housing, care of the elderly, hazardous chemicals to name but several areas of concern. It is this added extra that make the WI a loved and accepted part of our national heritage.

Do come along and meet us and make new friends - you will be given a warm welcome.
