Hi All

I guess I should be addressing this email to all the fathers, grandfathers and offspring in the village!!

Unfortunately this year’s Daffodil Weekend clashes with Mothering Sunday (Sunday 17 March) which means that as lots of our Mums will be busy serving teas and Dads will be parking cars and there will be very little time to spoil them as we would like. Also as far as the Green Man is concerned, they too miss out on one of their most popular events of the year.

So, with Mary’s support, we have decided to have our own Thriplow Mother’s Day a week earlier, on Sunday 11 March! Mary has put together a set menu (attached) at a very reasonable price of £14.50 (smaller portions for little ones £8.50) and tables can be booked anytime between 12 noon and 3.00 p.m. There will be only one sitting so there is no hurry to leave – just enjoy a lovely relaxed occasion.

To book a table, please either call into The Green Man or email Mary on mary.lindgren@PROTECTED and she will book a table for you. No advance payment is required but reservations would be appreciated, please.

It would be great if as many of us as possible could support this event so please put the date in your diaries!
