The Green Man in Thriplow changes hands on Monday so that the village community group will own it, at last. To celebrate this wonderful milestone, we are holding a Completion Celebration Party at the pub on Wednesday evening, starting at 7.30pm (that's October 3rd).

We will have lasagne, salad and chips available for the never to be repeated price of £7.50 and all the usual favourite beers on tap with a few bottles of quaffable red wine too. Diane is taking over responsibility for managing the pub for a little while and we have a new (temporary) chef on board - come and wish them well in their efforts over the next few weeks.

Everyone is welcome to come along, Most of the directors will be there as well and we will be able to tell you all a bit more about the progress the company is making. It is all getting very exciting!
