Hi everyone

Just announcing this Saturday evening's Fun Christmas Quiz night in the Green Man, Thriplow. December 8th, starting at about 8pm. This is a light hearted quiz for teams of up to four, cost is £5 per table. There will be some fabulous prizes of:

1st Prize - 4 two-course meals in the Green Man 2nd Prize - a bottle of wine to share between the team 3rd Prize - a £10 voucher to spend in the pub

...and there will also be something to eat at a random mid-point in the evening, just to keep your brain cells from flagging.

It will be best to make a booking for your team on 208855 as we already have a good entry list - but nobody on the list is unbeatable, so you still have a chance!

ALSO, on Sunday 23rd December, after our normal Sunday lunch service, we will re-open specially at 4pm for a Kid's Christmas Party with games and other activities for the younger end of the village, and this will be followed at 7pm by a section of the local brass band - 78 rpm - playing Christmas Carols for the remainder of the evening. This is a popular event so let Diane know on 208855 if you wish to come to either of these events.
