Just a quick message to say that unfortunately, we will not be open on Saturday night (29th) as planned. The next time we will be open will be New Year's Eve for a special dinner to be cooked by Mary. This dinner is now well booked up but a few more can be accommodated if you make a reservation quickly, phone 01763 208727 to do this please. Please can anyone who has made a reservation and hasn't pre-ordered their meal selection yet, do so now.

We will not be open at all on New Year's Day.

In the new year, we will have no food service as the kitchen roof is about to be replaced. However the pub will be open as normal at lunchtimes and evenings:

Tuesday to Thursday - 12-3pm and 7-11pm Friday - 12-3pm and 6-11pm
Saturday - 12-3pm and 7-11pm
Sunday 12-3pm
Monday closed

We have an enormous amount of people to thank for getting us through our first three months of our ownership, we will cover that and an update of the building refurbishments in a mail early in the new year. We hope we have done a reasonable job of providing a happy village pub during this time.
