SECOND HAND BOOKS

Got time on your hands now Christmas is over? Sick of TV? Fancy curling up on a wet afternoon with a good book?

There are a lot of books in the church which will have to be moved at the beginning of January to allow building work to start in the north transept. These have been donated over the past few years for the Christmas Bazaar etc. There is a good mix of up to date fiction, biographies and non- fiction. If you would like to take some of them to read please help yourself and maybe give a small donation if you wish to church restoration funds - perhaps 5 books for £1. You will be helping us by taking some. Otherwise spare ones will be given to the Oxfam bookshops.

We plan to keep some of the newer ones to sell again after the work is finished.

The church is open every day during daylight hours. Donations can be dropped in to Liz Moore, Anno Domini Cottage, Church Street, Thriplow or John Rimmer, 46 Church Street, Thriplow
