Here is some information you may be interested in.

A burglary occurred between 5th March – 5th April. A shed was broken into in Gt Shelford.

Between 3rd – 6th April an outboard Motor was stolen from Gt Shelford.

On 7th April a house burglary occurred in Newton. Jewellery and cash taken.

On Tuesday 8th April a male was seen talking to children at the recreation ground behind Duxford School. He was asking general questions, some asking if the children lived locally. He also asked if there was a tattoo parlour nearby? This question has been asked on previous reports in Stapleford and Melbourn. The male is described as in his early 20’s, fairly tall and slim with ginger hair and freckles. The police do not want to worry anyone unduly as no offence has been committed, but they do have concerns. This may possibly be a good time to gently remind your children about “stranger danger”. If you see anyone who matches this description please call the police immediately on 101.
