The date for your comments to SCDC on the proposed solar farm has been extended to Thursday 2nd October. So if you haven't yet written and wish to do so here is a reminder of the details;

We are opposed to the proposed plans because we feel it is an inappropriate site, because; 1. It is in the greenbelt
2. It will put a physical block between two villages within the same parish 3. It will blight the countryside which is currently enjoyed from our footpaths 4. Not enough research has been done on the impact the solar farm would have on the wildlife 5. There are other more suitable sites locally which are not within the greenbelt and are by a main road or a railway line
