This is a bit of information about the local Oil Consortium which can save you lots of money if you order via them instead of individually. Sharon and Julie run it, you just need to tell them what you want. They are about to place an order so it you need oil, just contact Julie as below.

Sharon describes here how it works:

We order collectively about 3 or 4 times a year - you can decide to opt in or out on each occasion - and then when I know what people want, I phone all the local suppliers and see who can offer us the best prices.. I send my spreadsheet with people's contact details and how much they would like - there is a minimum of 500 litres - and then usually the company we are dealing with will contact you and ask for payment and then the oil is delivered but payment processes can vary from company to company. In advance of collecting orders from you all, I make a few calls to find out current prices so that people will see what we are up against! Obviously the more oil we buy the less we all pay and we all pay the same per litre whether one is looking for 500 litres or 2000 litres.
