On Wednesday 3rd February between 6.30pm and 7.30pm a car parked in the car park at Whittlesford Memorial Hall was broken into by way of smashing a rear window. Cash, cards, documents and an iphone were stolen.

This highlights the reason we share this information on ecops. It gives you an idea of where this sort of thing is happening and, we hope, helps you to be more aware and vigilant. In fact, it can happen anywhere. There are those out there who make it their business to look for opportunities. It must be your business not to give them those opportunities. When these things happen we will do our best to catch the offenders but the best thing is not to allow it to happen in the first place. When you park your car in a public place take valuables with you or, at least, keep them out of sight!

Take care and stay safe
