Dear All,
Last week you should have received an e-mail telling you of an Extraordinary Parish Council meeting – no, don’t switch off – this is important so please read to the end - to be held on 3rd November in the village hall at 8pm. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the safety of the A505 / Gravel Pit Hill junction and what might be done to make improvements here.
The Parish Council is proposing to make a bid to Cambridgeshire County Council to fund these improvements although the parish council will also have to contribute something towards the cost if the work is to go ahead. In making this bid the parish has the support of our County Councillor, Peter Topping, and it is vitally important that the parish council can also show that it has the support of the village in making the bid.
Obviously we would be pleased to see you at the meeting, however, if you can’t come we would extremely grateful if you could e-mail me at DavidEasthope@PROTECTED to let us know that you support the parish council in its endeavours with regards to safety at this junction. A simple “Yes” is all we need!
Please remember - do not use "Reply" to this email, but send your agreement to DavidEasthope@PROTECTED
Kind regards
David Easthope
