Hi all,
Daffodil weekend final reminders
Only one more day to go, so some final reminders:
· Please put out garden chairs or seating for our visitors if you have some. As it is going to be cold it would be great if you could leave some blankets out as well
· Daffodil weekend will be extremely busy and it will be difficult getting cars out during the hours the event is running. Ideally please park any vehicles you may need to use on the cricket meadow before the road closures come into force. If parking on the cricket meadow then please park up against the wall/fence on the far side of the ground from Fowlmere Road. Reverse up to the wall please and as close as you can to each other
· If you do need to get a vehicle out please contact one of the volunteers (high vis jacket) and we will try and help get you out
· As the ground is soft we have invested heavily in protective matting for the ground and will be positioning this on Friday. Straw will also be available should you see an area you wish to reinforce or protect
· Please keep an eye out for any visitors who seem to be getting too cold and help them if necessary – the weather forecast is currently cold but dry
· There will be a number of media organisations attending the event (BBC, National Press) so we should be proud of our wonderful village and its strong sense of community!
We hope you have a great weekend
