Dear all,

I have been informed that on Saturday evening at approx 7 to 7.15 ish Owen and Amanda on School Lane opposite the school were broken into. They were disturbed by hearing an alarm sounding from their stables. The police were called by themselves whilst the burglary was occurring. They left after floodlights were turned on. Unfortunately they drove off in a small vehicle, no make of the vehicle is known, as they drove off with no lights turned on, in the direction of the Green Man. Power tools were taken amounting into the thousands. If you saw or heard anything suspicious please contact the police.

I am also minded to believe that heating oil was taken from a house on the Green.
