Sadly, two stall holders attending Daffodil Weekend reported theft of goods from their stalls overnight on Saturday 23^rd March. The stalls in question were sweet stalls based in the School Marquee and both noticed items missing first thing on Sunday morning. If you saw anything suspicious on Saturday night, please get in touch with the Daffodil Weekend Committee. It is the responsibility of the stall holder to look after their own goods, but if this petty theft is repeated next year, it will damage not only the reputation of the village, but also the Daffodil Weekend and would deter stall holders from attending future events.
