Sunday Volunteers

As you know our village shop is manned by wonderful volunteers on Sunday mornings. Some of these volunteers have been doing this for many years and have decided that it is now time to hand over to others. We will be looking for new volunteers to start in January 2020. All volunteers are given a thorough training session.

The shop is open from 8:30 am to noon each Sunday morning. A typical morning for volunteers starts from about 7:45am (to sort papers) and ends about 12:45pm (after counting up the money). It's a great way of meeting fellow villagers and catching up on local news/international politics etc!  

You don't have to be a couple, we can mix individual volunteers to work together.  And the more volunteers we can recruit, the less Sundays we will all have to do! (At the moment it's about once every 5 weeks.)
