Daffodil bulb planting

You may have noticed that the display of daffodils on the shop and church triangles was poor this year. We are working to improve this:

• We have just sprayed the grass on these triangles to kill it off (the current grade of grass was too coarse)
• We will replant the triangles with a classic more vigorous variety (exact variety is to be finalised but is likely to be King Alfred or Dutch Master)
• We will then companion plant the triangle with wild flower seed to help the bee population

This year we will also complete the avenue of daffodils between Fowlmere and Thriplow
