Church Services
In the light of latest Government advice to cease public gatherings, the guidance from the Church of England is that our usual pattern of Sunday services and other mid-week gatherings must be put on hold.
Please note that this does NOT mean that we have shut up shop but are finding new ways of being the Church of England, continuing to encourage prayer and worship at home, and serving everyone.
• There will be no public worship on Sunday or weekdays.
• St George’s Thriplow, St Mary’s Fowlmere and St Laurence Foxton will remain open during daylight hours for private prayer.
• Reverend Angela will be saying Morning prayer in the churches on behalf of the community according to the pattern below
• She will also celebrate Holy Communion on behalf of the community.
When we receive direction from the Bishop we will let you know what our plans are to celebrate Easter in our communities.
Please use the Four Church Benefice Website https://www.thefourchurchbenefice.org There will be daily updates from Revd Angela including prayers and readings for your personal devotions. This and provision for personal prayers in church will be operational from Friday 20th March. Please don’t hesitate to contact her, either through the website or, by email: rector@PROTECTED or telephone 01763 208195 should you need pastoral support
Morning Prayer: 9.0am Monday at Fowlmere, Tuesday at Thriplow, Wednesday at Shepreth, Thursday at Foxton, Saturdays at Fowlmere
Many thanks
Angela Melaniphy
