Dear Villagers
As we readjust to life under lockdown and with the days still short, we thought that the village would like the option of some different food offerings to look forward to. Therefore, with the agreement of our fab Parish Council and for the duration of lockdown only, we will be inviting a different food truck to the village (the days will vary according to availability). We are calling this event A Tiny Taste of Thriplow, after the much loved (and much bigger!) site at Daffodil Weekend.
We will post details of who is coming along on the village Facebook page, along with details of how to order your food. Many vendors are now only taking orders via website payments, where you collect your food at an allotted time slot. This clearly helps with social distancing but when you collect your food, please make sure that you follow the current Government guidance and don't congregate if you see friends. For this to work, we need to be sensible and look after each other.
There will be one vendor per week and they will be parked up at the Village Hall car park. Vendors are generously donating a small fee to the Village Hall coffers so please support these businesses; they have all seen their incomes slashed with the wholesale cancellation of events and festivals, but with our support, they will make it through to events like Thriplow Daffodil Weekend 2022!
Best wishes and stay safe!
Florence Walston, Alastair Gray and Kerstin Rivett
