The Green Man in Thriplow are removing the tree that overhangs the back garden of the pub, tomorrow. The task is the first to enable the extension to be started,

The tree surgeon has been asked to leave behind any reasonable burning logs for us when he has removed all the brushwood. It is an ash tree and apparently will burn without seasoning, and burn well so I'm told.

Please bring a wheelbarrow and come and get some for your stockpile if you wish. I would imagine anytime after 2pm would be fine.

Oh, and don't forget, Friday night at the pub this week is Curry Night, from 7pm onwards.
