Bulb Planting - Saturday 10th November at 2:30pm

We need volunteers to help plant daffodil bulbs in the village as part of the preparations for the 45th Thriplow Daffodil Weekend. We will meet outside the Green Man (with spade & wheelbarrow) at 2.30pm on Saturday 10th November 2012.

The annual bulb planting helps to make sure the village looks at its best come March and is the time to plant new swathes and to fill in any gaps. We should be finished by 4pm and all volunteers will be rewarded with tea and cake!

As some of the planting is beside busy roads, we do not recommend young children accompany family members as it would be unsafe. All bulbs will be supplied and there will also be bulbs available for planting on verges outside your homes as usual.
