Village BBQ, Saturday 15th June

If you haven't got your tickets for the BBQ now is the time to get down to the Village Shop. A good number of tickets have been sold and the few remaining tickets are on sale at £6 per adult and £4 for children/concessions.

Gathering from 5pm, the event kicks off with Games on the Green at 5.30pm. With four days to go there is plenty of time to hone your three-legged, egg & spoon and sack racing skills.

Food from the BBQ will be served from 7.00pm (children first) - delicious bangers in buns, piri piri chicken and sausages in rolls. There will be a vegetarian option.

If anyone would like to volunteer to bring a salad then please email Jack & Jenny (jlindop@PROTECTED) and advise us what you would be happy to bring (enough for 8 people ideally) or sign up on the "Salad Sign Up Sheet" in the Village Shop.

You will need to come armed with something to sit on (rug/chairs) and your own plates/cutlery. Bring along your drinks of choice or simply walk across to The Green Man for your liquid refreshments.

Live music will follow the food and there will be plenty of time to dance around the marquee later in the evening.

Don't miss out on what promises to be a great night, grab those last few tickets. If you are already coming, please, please volunteer to make a salad (and email us/sign the sheet in the shop to let us know which type you can bring). One final plea - we need to know how much vegetarian food to prepare so please do let us know by email if you would prefer the vegetarian choice.
