October is a tremendously exciting month for Thriplow Primary School as the School is celebrating its 150th Year Anniversary. To mark this momentous occasion, the following special events have been arranged which you are most welcome to attend :

On Thursday 10th October, there will be a service at St George's Church to celebrate the Anniversary commencing at 9.15 am. This will be followed by refreshments at the School where there will be a photographic display of Thriplow School's history kindly organised by The Thriplow Society. All are welcome.

On Friday 11th October there will be a special dinner held in the School Hall. All are very welcome, especially those with a connection to the School. Tickets are £10 each for 2 courses and available from Mrs Linda Baron in the School Office.

Finally, Thriplow Primary School has been lucky enough to have been chosen as one of Waitrose's nominated charities in October. The money raised will go towards creating a Nature Garden for the children to observe birds, insects and wildlife and to grow and eat their own vegetables. If you shop at Waitrose during October we would be very grateful if you would donate your token to Thriplow School's Nature Garden.
