I would just like to clarify some details on the proposed solar development so that people have the correct information to hand.

The original plan was for the development to cover 32ha (320,000 square meters). This has now been reduced by roughly 33%. The amended map on the SCDC website is not the current plan - I have attached here an estimation of what the current proposal is. I would imagine that the latest plans will be up on the website in due course.

As you can see, the entire field to the north of the Drift has been removed. This will mean that the view to the church, as highlighted on the poster, will be totally unaffected.

Please note that this is not the official map, just something I have made to illustrate the point.
