Hi Everyone,

I have had many people contact me asking questions about the solar farm in relation to biodiversity and wildlife conservation. It is obviously of interest so I thought it would be better to email everyone, not just those who got in touch with me.

The panels would have two blends of seeds sown under them, one which contains 12 types of wildflower and 4 grasses. Specific details here,

The other blend contains 16 wildflowers and 6 grasses - details here

Without wanting to become preachy, I will also just pop in these two links which show the RSPB's and the National Trust's opinion that the parks are good news for wildlife.

I hope this fills in some more gaps.

David
