Dear Everyone,

On Tuesday 27th May contractors will be starting work in the churchyard to lay a mains drain from the church, through the churchyard to connect with the public sewer in Brook Road. This work is part of the Mary Cooper Open Church Project, and will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.

During this period there will be no vehicular access to the church yard but pedestrian access will be maintained. We ask that you take particular care when you visit the churchyard since contractors will be working there with mechanical plant.

In the latter stages of the work when the contractors are working at the bottom of the drive, near to the road, then access on foot may be more restricted, but should be maintained. If you do have any problems at all with access then please contact either John Rimmer on 01763 209160 or Liz Moore on 01763 208735.

The last part of the work will be to excavate in Brook Road to connect to the sewer and during this period traffic light will be in operation to control traffic.

We hope that minimum inconvenience will be caused by this work.
