Village summer party

We are planning a fun filled event on the evening of Friday 26th June starting at 6pm on the Village Green with fun sports for the children. We are planning a marquee with music and dancing, a BBQ, a cocktail happy hour and other entertainments and competitions. Put the date in your diary now and arrange to finish work a little earlier! Keep an eye on the village e mail and posters around the village for more details on timing, events, tickets etc

Daffodil Weekend open meeting

This will be taking place on Wednesday 10th June at 8pm in the Village Hall. Please come along:

·         Find out how the money you helped raise is being distributed
·         If you have any thoughts or comments about the event
·         Find out what is being planned for next year

Daffodils

We are planning a major replanting of daffodils in the autumn to ensure we have a superb display for the 50th Daffodil Weekend. However we do need to look after our existing flowers and make sure they flourish. Now is the ideal time to dead head them! Why not go out and dead head the daffodils near your house? Simply pull any flower heads off the stalk once they have finished flowering – it is a very therapeutic job…
