Judy Bradshaw

Judy died peacefully at home after a prolonged illness. We remember her as the energetic and vibrant person that she always was – one who always entered into activities with great commitment, enthusiasm and a sense of fun. She always strived to contribute to village life by supporting the school PTA when our children were young, Daffodil Weekend for 30yrs and in recent years did an enormous amount of work for the shop.

We received many messages from friends in the village both at the start of Judy's illness last year and in the past few days – too many, unfortunately, for us to be able to respond to individually. So please accept this as our thanks to everyone who sent messages of sympathy and support during this very difficult time for Judy.

We had a small funeral service on Thursday 9th July just for Judy's immediate family. We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating Judy's life on Saturday 18th July. This will be at our house and, weather permitting, in Judy's beautiful garden. We will be having afternoon tea and drinks from 3-6pm and hope that you will be able to join us to share yours and our memories, stories and photos of Judy.
