Update on Bank Holiday events at The Green Man.

Friday 28th August
Just to let people know that in the evening the restaurant & back garden have been fully booked out for a group event. Therefore the bar and front garden will be open for the village, but not the kitchen.

Friday lunch time will be business as usual.

Sunday 30th August
The pub will open late as it's a bank holiday. The kitchen will stay open until 8pm and the bar until 10pm.

Monday 31st August
The Great Big Bank Holiday Brunch is back. Food served 10-3pm, and the bar is open until 5pm. All the classic brunch dishes, along with the bloody mary bar of your dreams. No tapas or other menu will be served on Bank Holiday Monday, it is Brunch all the way.

Tuesday 01 September
The Green Man will be closed.

Green Man Quiz Update
A note on a change of date for the monthly quiz. From September 28th onwards for the rest of 2015 the Quiz will be held on the last Monday of the month instead of the last Tuesday. This means that once a month the pub will open on a Monday evening for the quiz only. There will be no normal dinner service, just the quiz one pot dinner. Drinkers are welcome to join us in the pub for the duration of the quiz. Last orders will be called once the quiz is finished.

The Green Man Beer Festival
We will be celebrating National Cask Ale week from Thursday 24th September - Sunday 4th October. Special events include:
Saturday 26th September: Live music and party time Monday 28th September: Beer themed quiz, booking a place for your team is essential Wednesday 30th September: Bravo for British Beer night. Intimate evening for 35 lucky people, 5 Beers & 4 courses of matched food. Tickets are going steadily, so book your place soon. £45 per head. £10 deposit required per head to secure your place.

Lift home service
I hope that most of you have by now heard about The Green Man's complimentary lift home service. It's not going to apply to village folk, but you may like to tell your friends in surrounding villages. They can join you for dinner here at the pub and we will drop them home.
