We invite all villagers to come and join us this coming Sunday 29th November at 10.30 am at St George’s Church as we celebrate the start of the Season of Advent. This is a joint service for all four churches within our benefice. We will also be dedicating the new extension to the church with toilet facilities, which was completed on 4th September. This marks the completion of the second phase of The Mary Cooper Open Church Project.

The former rector Canon Linda Church, Director of Ministry within Ely diocese, who initiated this project, will be joining us on this special occasion. We would be very pleased if you could join us for this event, as we give thanks for all the people and organisations that have supported this project. The service will last about one and a half hours and there will be an opportunity to inspect the new work, and speak with those involved in the project.

And stay on after the service to celebrate with a glass of wine and light refreshments.
