I thought the village may like to be informed that we had an 'ex offender' knock the door on Wednesday evening saying he was trying to change his life. I think he was selling tea towels etc. Anyway the dog didn't like him and was rather growly. The chap became rather unpleasant.

We called the police who said they'd had no warning that ex criminals were doing this scheme locally.
