Hello everyone
Just a quick note to let you know what's going on at The Green Man this weekend, and to remind you we will be showing the England vs. Ireland rugby.
The pub will be open 11am-11pm on Saturday, and 11am until 9pm ish on Sunday.
All weekend we will be serving pulled pork baps and home made chips, and there will also be jacket potatoes for the Sunday evening wrap party (rsvp to Mary please). There will be no tapas or normal food service over the weekend.
Thanks to Fergus' bright idea, we will be showing the England vs. Ireland rugby match at 5pm on Saturday. We will hook up our projector to a big screen, get the sound system linked up (fingers crossed) and all have a jolly old time. As mentioned, we will have yummy BBQ pulled pork and chips on offer, and its and lots of WHERRY & THRIPLOW BLONDE on tap. The match starts at 5pm, so come eat, drink & be merry - and you can still be tucked up in bed by 8pm!
We will have a bar up at the Taste of Thriplow field, with lots of WHERRY & THRIPLOW BLONDE to go around, as well as a bar outside the pub. We hope you can beat the queue in the pub this weekend by picking up a pint from one of the outside bars!
Looking forward to a great weekend, praying for dry weather, and hope to see you all for a well deserved drink before / during / after the festivities.
Cheers
Rebecca & Chris
P.s. We will be closed the Monday & Tuesday after Daffodil for a big clean up operation, and to give our team a well deserved rest. We apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused.
