A message for cyclists and walkers in the village who may be interested in visiting some of the historic churches in the area.

On Saturday, 9th September the Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust, Ride and Stride event will be taking place between 10 am and 6pm. This is a fundraising event for the Trust to enable them to fund repairs and improvements to our Historic buildings, and this year it coincides with the Heritage Open Day.

Whether you wish to be sponsored or not, can I encourage you to think about visiting some of the local churches or chapels on this day – in most, you will be greeted by a steward who can offer you some refreshments and tell you a little bit of the history of the place.
