Have you planted any Daffodils this year? Please tell us about them

I hope you agree we now have magnificent displays of daffodils around the village. The next part of the plan to make Thriplow the best village for daffodils is to increase the diversity of our daffodil types. Many villagers have kindly agreed to plant some unique “heritage” species whose gene line we want to protect – this is happening now.

We want to map all the daffodil types in Thriplow. Please let us know if you have planted any daffodils this year and if so, what types. If you do plant some please e mail admin@PROTECTED and let us know the type and location – thanks!

Preparations for Daffodil Weekend are well under way – amazingly we already have 25 confirmed coach bookings and 60 stalls!

Daffodil Weekend will be on 23^rd and 24^th March and we have been guaranteed warm weather…
