As we prepare for Christmas there is a lot to let you know about….

2. Christmas stock and offers

1. Egg Supplies.   It is a great sadness that Winter Egg Farm in Thriplow will be closing down shortly.  But don’t worry, we will still have free range eggs for you, they just won’t be from 100 yards away!
    
2. Christmas Stock and Offers.   We are almost ready to convert the shop into Christmas mode.  As usual, we will have charity Christmas Cards, Gift Wrapping Paper, Gifts and Chocolates.  Some of the gifts and speciality items can be ordered so if you see something you want but we don’t have enough of, let Maureen know and we’ll try to re-order it.  We will also be selling the Daffodil Weekend book - they make a high quality gift for people who don’t live in the village but like to come to Daffodil Weekend.
   
   We also have lots of Christmas stamps.  In the next two weeks, you can order what you want but then the Christmas stamps will go on general sale.  So to make sure you get your cards off with Christmas stamps, make your order now.
    
3. Christmas Raffle.   Sue will be selling raffle tickets as usual up to the last week before Christmas, and the usual prizes will be up for grabs.  It’s not quite “everyone’s a winner” but there are lots of prizes so get your sheet of numbers next time you call into the shop and good luck!
    
4. We will open be open half days between Christmas and New Year but I think it would be better to confirm these nearer the date, so I won’t confuse anyone just yet!  We will put a notice on the door or somewhere obvious too.
    
5. 150 Club renewals.   There are quite a few people who haven’t renewed their entries yet.  I will be doing the next draw in about a week or so, only people who have already paid in can win so please try to remember to renew your entry - £15 for each number for a whole year.  If you would like me to take it out of your prepay account, just reply to this mail and ask me.
