The subject of the February talk on Thursday February 20th (in Thriplow Village Hall, 8pm) has been changed. Phillipa MacGarry can no longer give us her talk owing to pressure of work.

Instead Shirley Wittering will give us a talk entitled, 'This Enclosure Business' . She will tell us about how the largest change in the Landscape of south Cambridgeshire since the 13th century came about. How Parliamentary Enclosure affected not only farming practices but also the villagers who had a completely different landscape to work in.

The landscape you look at today is a result of these changes.
