Dear Parishioners,

A message from the Rector and Churchwardens of St George’s Church

During this period of the Coronavirus pandemic all church services have been suspended. However, as a result of the latest Government guidelines, St George’s Church is now open during the day for private prayer and quiet contemplation. You can find more information and devotional resources on our website

With effect from Monday 15th June, the church will be open at the following hours:

Monday 8.00 am until 5.00 pm                                                                                                     

Tuesday 9.30 am until 5.00 pm 

Wednesday to Saturday   8.00 am until 5.00 pm

Sunday midday until 5.00 pm

A prayer tree has been set up in the crossing. Please write your prayers on the cards and hang them on the tree, these prayers will be said on your behalf. 

We request that all visitors maintain social distancing and remain within the area of the church that is sectioned off and do not go beyond the altar table. This area of the church will be cleaned daily.
