To all those who knew Barbara and have been asking after her recently the sad news is that she died peacefully at her care home yesterday morning (21^st). She had lived in Thriplow since 1967. She was a parish councillor for over 40 years and was a member of the village hall committee for longer than I can remember. She also was a leading light in TADS – performing, directing and organising the choreography. She served for some time as a Thriplow school governor and on the Daffodil weekend committee. She was also very involved with the Altzheimers Society and Dementia and received an MBE for her services.
