Deliveries to Self-Isolating people

We have been offering deliveries from the shop to people who for whatever reason can't get out for 16 weeks now, and the group of Coronavirus volunteers have done a marvellous job of keeping up the deliveries on a daily basis.  Many of those who were locked in are now out and about and we are glad to see you in the shop from time to time.  However, there are a few people who are still keeping indoors to protect themselves from this evil virus.  The shop will continue to take your orders and the volunteers are more than happy to keep up their excellent service.  But just as a reminder, this is a service that should only be used by those who are continue to self-isolate.  Please don't make a telephone order to the shop if you are able to get out and visit us.

Although we haven't seen it yet, the Test, Track and Trace system will probably mean that whole households will get notified to self-isolate for up to 14 days.  Also, people who travel into the UK from abroad need to self-isolate until and unless the air-bridge system comes into force.  We would remind anyone in Thriplow, Heathfield or Fowlmere that has the need to temporarily self-isolate, that our delivery service is there for you to use.  Just call the shop (01763 208958) with your order and the goods should be delivered within 24 hours.

We seem to be able to get most items in our usual stock now, and the committee and staff are pleased to see so many new customers.  I can also speak as a customer - it really has helped to have such a local supplier.

150 Club Winners

Just a quick note, the winners of the June draw were Michael Murch, Hanna Roberts, James Murch and Carol Deed.  If I lived in the Murch household, I'd go and get a Lottery ticket, it must be their lucky week.
