The first Thriplow Film Night of 2016 will be Thursday 21st April - post Daffodil weekend, pre GCSE/A Levels. As usual £5 a ticket including free popcorn and all profits split between St George's Church and Thriplow Primary School. The next talk will be on "Vegetables for Value" by Rodney Tibbs in Fowlmere Village Hall on 3rd March, 7.45pm Rodney Tibbs has spent a lifetime in journalism - you may remember him as a feature writer and editor of the Cambridge Evening News. He is the author of three topographical books dealing with various aspects of East Anglia. He has now retired from journalism and devotes more time to gardening and horticulture. A few weeks ago I entered the Beads of Courage at Addenbookes into the Cash for Community Campaign that the Cambridge News and Cambridge Building Society are involved in.
