Hi all, *_Update from Daffodil Weekend_* Last weekend should have been our 52nd Daffodil Weekend. As you are aware we had to cancel due to Corona virus - the second only time the event has had to be called off. Daffodil Weekend brings us all together as a community and it is wonderful to see how our parish is now reacting in the current emergency - everyone is pulling together to help each other, friends and neighbours. March 26th 2020

Due to the current Coronavirus crisis from Monday 30th March until further notice the shop opening hours will be:- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 7am – 4pm Wednesday 7am – 6pm Saturday 8am – 1pm Sunday 10am - 12noon The shop provides a vital service for the community and our staff will be working harder than ever fulfilling orders for delivery, covering Sunday opening and coming into the shop out of hours to place orders with suppliers. Village Message from Thriplow Shop

March 24th 2020

We are running a one-at-a-time in the shop system to minimise contact, please queue outside the shop until it is your turn and remember to keep your distance in the queue.  Also, please be as quick as you can in the shop, it won't always be so nice to queue outside as it is this week. The delivery system is beginning to work and volunteers will collect and deliver any morning orders around mid-day and afternoon orders at 4pm. Village Message - Isolation Quiz

We are Rosemary and Barry Jones and residents of Fowlmere. Like most of Thriplow’s residents, we are stuck indoors and as we are over 70 in one of the vulnerable groups. We feel decidedly helpless and yet still want to do our bit to help. So, we started posting daily quizzes on the Fowlmere Facebook residents’ page. During this period of isolation, all church services have been suspended. However, the church will remain open during daylight hours for private prayer and quiet contemplation. Hi all. We have one of the gardens that would have been opened for Daffodil Weekend, and it is looking lovely. As we are needing social distancing and isolation because of the current corona virus guidelines we are offering to open the garden during the week by appointment only for hour long slots for individual households to visit, so that cross infection won't occur.
