Village Message from Thriplow Shop - Subscriptions

*Sunday Volunteers* *As you know our village shop is manned by wonderful volunteers on Sunday mornings. Some of these volunteers have been doing this for many years and have decided that it is now time to hand over to others. We will be looking for new volunteers to start in January 2020. All volunteers are given a thorough training session.* *The shop is open from 8:30 am to noon each Sunday morning. *Subscriptions 2019/20* *We held our AGM on Wednesday and agreed that subscriptions should remain at £10 per member.  This is per person and not per household.* *Subscriptions for this year are now due. They can be paid in the shop, either in cash, or by cheque, or directly from your prepay account. Dear Parishioner, We are looking to recruit some more volunteers to assist with our Thriplow Community Speedwatch Group. Full training is provided by the Police and the commitment would be, perhaps, two x 1 hour sessions per month. We currently operate when traffic through the village is at its heaviest, usually 8:00 am to 9:00 am, 13:00-14:00 pm, 17:00-18:00, but we can be completely flexible to fit in with volunteers commitments.
