Hi everyone Subscriptions to Thriplow Village Shop Association are due from 1 July.   The cost, per person, is £10 again.  You can pay by any means, cash, card, cheque or prepay account and we will add you to the list of Members for 2018-19 Everyone paying subs will be asked to fill in a Data Privacy Notice to give you assurance that as we hold some details about you (name and address usually) we comply with the new GDPR rules. Village Message about Speedwatch

Dear Resident, We are looking for a few more volunteers to assist with the Speedwatch traffic speed monitoring scheme. Setting up the Speedwatch Indicator Device enables drivers to visually see the speed they are travelling. Last Monday, 11 June, nearly 100 vehicles passed through Fowlmere Road, one way, during our 1 hour session, resulting in 18 vehicles travelling over the 30 mph limit. Village Message from the Green Man

As most of you may have seen, our lovely wagyu cattle are happily grazing in Thriplow meadow, next to our pigs.  The cattle are very friendly, they get fed twice a day so their natural reaction if you enter the field will be to approach you. They are always hopeful for food and may give you a good sniff to see if you're hiding any goodies up your jumper.
