Hi everyone Subscriptions to Thriplow Village Shop Association are due from 1 July. The cost, per person, is £10 again. Dear Resident, We are looking for a few more volunteers to assist with the Speedwatch traffic speed monitoring scheme. Setting up the Speedwatch Indicator Device enables drivers to visually see the speed they are travelling. Last Monday, 11 June, nearly 100 vehicles passed through Fowlmere Road, one way, during our 1 hour session, resulting in 18 vehicles travelling over the 30 mph limit. As most of you may have seen, our lovely wagyu cattle are happily grazing in Thriplow meadow, next to our pigs. The cattle are very friendly, they get fed twice a day so their natural reaction if you enter the field will be to approach you. They are always hopeful for food and may give you a good sniff to see if you're hiding any goodies up your jumper.
