Daffodil Weekend 17th & 18th March TEAROOM ROTAS, CAKES AND SANDWICHES Here we go again! Yes, it’s that time again and with about 7 weeks to go, the tearoom rotas are looking for lots of friendly faces to fill those places. We would love to see you there and do hope you will consider signing up for a session to help serve hot drinks, cakes or man the tills. Hi All! I am currently in my Final year at University and I am studying film and TV production. For my final, major project this term I am directing a film, and making it with 7 other amazing people in my course. The film is set in WWII and is about 2 men, Henrik and Denis, a German Panzer fighter and a British soldier, who end up getting trapped in a Jagdpanther tank. AGM and Group Fun Quiz – Glen Link in Fowlmere Village Hall Thursday 1 February at 7.45pm This is a very popular and enjoyable evening. Firstly we hold our AGM with the promise that we will not persuade anyone on the night to ‘join the committee.’ Then, over a glass of wine and a nibble or two, we will pit our wits in groups to answer mostly general knowledge questions tinged with gardening know-how. Hi everyone, it’s a new era in Thriplow Shop… 1. Helen has left us last week 2. Maureen has agreed to be our new manager 3. Sonya Cooper is joining us 4. We also have a new Treasurer 5. December was an excellent month for the shop 6. 150 Club winners 1. Well much has happened since mid December! Helen handed in her notice in mid December and has yesterday started her new job in a sixth form college.
