Village Message from The Green Man

Wishing everyone in Thriplow a very happy new year! Just to let you all know that we are open as usual until New Year Eve (closing the bar just after midnight). We will be closed from January 1st-16th 2018 for our usual annual maintenance and re-decoration. We will have staff and tradesmen in and about the pub, but will not be open until 11am on Wednesday 17th January 2018. We are sorry to announce that Michael Moule died on December 18th. His funeral will be on Monday January 8th 2018 at 12.0 noon at the West Chapel, Cambridge Crematorium. CB3 0JJ. Village Message, Changes at Thriplow Village Shop

It is with sadness that we have to announce that Helen is leaving her position as manager of Thriplow Shop. Helen has worked for ten years as manager and has been largely responsible for its efficient running and growth during the period of the shop being community run. She has had to deal with many crises, changes and troubles during this time and it is testament to her diligence that these have often not been noticed by customers. Helen will leave on January 13th.
