I am sorry to inform everyone that we will have NO newspapers on Easter Sunday. It appears that WH Smiths have assumed that we are closed despite our normally being open on that day and our response to their enquiries. Despite our strenuous efforts this week, they say they cannot change their plans and will not be delivering. The shop will still be open and papers will be as usual on Saturday and Monday. Hi all Daffodil Weekend – thanks! This e-mail is to thank everyone in the village and outside for a very successful Daffodil Weekend. It’s an enormous effort for everyone and it wouldn’t happen at all but for the hard work that the whole village puts in. The weekend managed to raise around £35,000 for local good causes – a result we should all be proud of!
